Delete your account

You can delete your Fibotree account at any time. It works the same on iPhone and Android.

In the app

1. On Home, tap your avatar to open Settings.
2. Tap Delete account and read what will happen.
3. Type DELETE to confirm. If you signed in with Apple, confirm with Apple once more.

This needs a connection. Changes waiting on your phone are sent first, so nothing you did is lost from shared workspaces.

If you can't open the app

Email contact@fibotree.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm it is you, then delete the account in the same way.

What happens

• At once: you are signed out, your command-line sign-ins and notifications stop, and the account can no longer be used.
• For 30 days you can change your mind: sign in again and choose Keep my account.
• After 30 days we erase your sign-in, your account, and every workspace where you are the only person. A guest account is erased within the hour and can't be brought back.

What stays

• In shared workspaces, your tasks, comments and messages stay for the others, under "Deleted member". Tasks you owned go back to no one. If you were the only owner, the person who joined first becomes owner.
• Crash reports already sent are kept by Google for up to 90 days, without your name.
